Hi all,
Sorry it's been so long. I am just coming out of another long bout with my episodic depression. While in the midst of it I tried some alternative medicine approaches. As soon as I'm feeling strong enough I intend to share their outcome. I appreciate your patience. In the meantime feel free to catch up on my earlier posts.
Thanks to all,
~MIchelle~

Dear Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI do not know you personally, but, I have read some of your poems on your site. Very inspiring. I wish I can write like that. My best friend's son is Bipolar, so, I know it's not easy. I wish you well! If I might add one piece of advice, you should really focus on taking care of yourself first. Being in a relationship is hard in itself, besides going through with being Bipolar. It wouldn't be fair to you or to your boyfriend......William. He's a VERY good man and deserves a relationship that is "drama" free. I hope that the two of you make it through.
To the last anonymous person who left me a comment about my writing inspiring you and knowing how hard it is to live w/ Bipolar as well as worrying about William, here is my response:
ReplyDeleteHi,
I appreciate your comment, however I would like to make 2 points to you. First, I am not a classic bipolar patient. I am diagnosed with bipolar because my father is and I had 1 hypo-manic state in my entire life in the 80's. The rest of my disability has been characterized by severe depression. I have NEVER had another "manic or hypo-manic" episode. In addition, you are right, William is a wonderful man who also happens to be wonderful in both dealing with my severe depressions and helping to pull me out of them. We have been together since 2007 and we are living together for the past year and doing great. Not to get too personal, but it almost sounds as if you know William but would rather keep yourself anonymous. Who knows??? Anyway, all that aside, thank you for you compliments on my writing and I am glad it inspires you.
Be well,
